Based on the WASK 312 gas bypass system, Sarco Stopper leaders in line stopping technology and developed in partnership with Crane created the award winning Mains Wizard system. This system allows for under pressure bagging off of 3”-8” mains with by-pass to provide for uninterrupted supply to customers, drastically reducing water wastage (the mains does not require flushing), major cost savings (customer notifications, customer rebates) and no risk of knock on burst on recharge. The equipment is light weight with no power source required and can be comfortably used by a two man crew. Currently under development is the next version of the Mains Wizard which will allow for the bagging off of 9”-12” mains.

Allows for the drilling and tapping of gas mains along with a bagging off and by-pass system providing a safe and effective way of maintaining and extending gas mains. The equipment is suitable for use up to 2 bar(30psi) and will fit mains 3”-12”. A recent development has been the single hole bagging system (SBH) allowing for 2 bags to be deployed from a single hole reducing entry points, excavation size and safety benefits.
